We all know the BeagleBone Black is pretty great, but wouldn’t it be nice to create personal capes based on your needs? The SparkFun BeagleBone Black Proto Cape is a great way to prototype or design custom capes and provides you access to all gpio pins available on the BeagleBone Black. The Proto Cape easily mates with a BeagleBone Black and gives you a large prototyping area, two red LEDs for user applications or debugging, and access to a blank EEPROM that is great for storing pin configuration data.
Each BeagleBone Black Proto Cape offers plenty of space to prototype with .1" spaced throug..
BeagleBoard-xM delivers extra ARM Cortex-A8 MHz and extra memory with 512MB of low-power DDR RAM, enabling hobbyists, innovators and engineers to go beyond their current imagination and be inspired by the BeagleBoard community. Designed with the community inputs in mind, this open hardware design improves upon the laptop-like performance and expandability, while keeping at hand-held power levels. Direct connectivity is supported by the on-board four-port hub with 10/100 Ethernet, while maintaining a tiny 3.25 x 3.25" footprint.
As with previous BeagleBoard offerings, the BeagleBoard-xM is no..

The CryptoCape is the BeagleBone’s first dedicated security daughterboard and was made in collaboration with our Hacker In Residence, Josh Datko. Known as “shields” on other platforms, a BeagleBone cape attaches to the expansion headers of the BeagleBone. This cape adds specialized ICs that perform various cryptographic operations which will allow you to add a hardware security layer to your BeagleBone project. It also is a nice device for those performing embedded security research. Needless to say this is a great product for those of you who are interested in computer security!

The Dog House for BeagleBoard xM is a sturdy, lightweight, powder-coated aluminum case for the Beagle Board xM. The Dog House by itself weighs just 4.5 ounces (127 grams) - with the Beagle Board xM mounted, the package weighs less than 7 ounces. A three piece design including a lid, wrapper, and baseplate makes assembling a breeze, not to mention the built-in standoffs with 4-40 fasteners to secure your board to the baseplate.
Built-in mounting feet make it easy to attach your Beagle Board xM anywhere like under a desk, in the ceiling or on the wall. You can even insert small rubber feet (no..
The BeagleBone Black is a great credit-card-sized development platform with a fast growing community, why would you not want to keep your board safe and sound inside this clear plastic enclosure? These cases protect your BeagleBone Black from things like rogue wires that might short it out while still allowing full access to the board! Simply snap the BBB into the bottom half of the enclosure, then snap the two sides together.
As you may have noticed, these enclosures are actually transparent. The enclosures are perfect for letting you see your BeagleBone and make any needed adjustments easi..
